DJ MTK has earned himself a spot on the books in the Virginia area. A welcomed addition to the music scene, MTK has unleashed the energy of his music onto dance floors across the state.<br /> <br /> Since his early 20&rsquo;s, MTK began spinning for friends at college parties at GMU, and was soon packing the dance floors in NOVA, where he gained residence of Auld Shabeen, Fairfax every Saturday while working various other venues on other nights of the week. He would like to thank his mentor DJ Wisdom for taking him under his wing and teaching him the tricks of the trade. MTK has gained respect from several DJs with 20+ years experience in the business (DJ Rich, DJ Tall, DJ Grimm) for his innovations in mixing top 40, rock, classics, and house.<br /> <br /> &ldquo;Usually at our bar we have 1:30 cut off for the dj, but when MTK is spinning, he has to play another song or two just to get them to stop yelling &ldquo;One More Song!&rdquo; and leave the bar.
